Founder Story
The founders met in the labs of Güder Research Group at Imperial College London. Since 2017, we’ve built sensors to reveal new data, harnessing it with machine learning to solve critical problems. We’ve explored tech for air pollution and soil fertilisation, but food waste is where we landed on. 1/3 of all food is wasted. BlakBear measures food directly, and we want to make it algorithmically efficient.
